CMI Property breaks ground for 5,000 s/f retail addition

According to Elliot & Co. LLC, CMI Properties broke ground recently for a 5,000 s/f addition of prime retail space at 780 Providence Hwy. Managed by Norwood-based CMI Property Inc., the new retail addition is scheduled for completion by summer of this year. The addition will bring total square footage to the two-building retail portfolio at the location to 50,000 s/f. Elliot & Co. is the exclusive leasing agent for the property. "We're very excited to launch the leasing campaign for this prime retail space to qualified tenants who are seeking primary location in the area," said Elliot Ravech, managing partner of Elliot & Co. "Adjacent to one of the region's most innovative shopping centers, Legacy Place, and across the street from Dedham Plaza, 780 Providence offers an excellent opportunity for savvy tenants." Ravech added that the new space is subdividable for smaller tenants that may include coffee shops, casual dining, hair salons, barber shops, clothing and gift shops or retailers providing personal services. Existing tenants in the two-building portfolio at 780 Providence Hwy. include Bed Bath & Beyond, Verizon Wireless, The Vitamin Shoppe and Massage Envy.
