Carpionato Group appoints Coates and Carpionato

Cranston, RI According to Alfred Carpionato, chairman and chief executive officer of the Carpionato Group, the following have been appointed:

• Kelly MacArthur Coates, who currently serves as senior vice president, commercial development, finance and leasing, will succeed Carpionato as president and chief operating officer.

• Domenic Carpionato will become a senior vice president.

The appointments reflect the continued expansion of the Carpionato Group and will enable Carpionato to focus on company strategy and growth with day-to-day operations in the hands of Coates.

“Kelly Coates has worked alongside me for decades during a period of tremendous growth and profitability,” said Carpionato. 

Coates said, “The company has always maintained a strong commitment to serve our tenants, the communities we work in, the Carpionato Family, and its employees.”

“Carpionato Group’s senior leadership team plays a key role in our success,” said Carpionato.
