CannonDesign celebrates 30th anniversary; donates to YouthBuild

CannonDesign celebrated the 30th anniversary of its local office with an open house on March 27. Marking the milestone, the Boston office made a $10,000 donation to YouthBuild Boston. This donation will be used to cover student stipends for the summer session, allowing YouthBuild Boston to employ 15 students for 20 hours per week for eight weeks. CannonDesign's ideas-based practice is focused on providing client solutions to create healthy and nurturing places, make intelligent use of resources, and turn challenges into opportunities in order to design a successful future together with clients. Based on the belief that communities derive significant benefits from access to the design professions, the Boston office continues its public interest design work through CannonDesign's Open Hand Studio, which provides pro bono design services to those who would otherwise lack access.
