Calvin Klein to open at Berenson's 120,000 s/f Freeport Village Station

Calvin Klein will open their latest prototype designer outlet at the 120,000 s/f Freeport Village Station. Phillips-Van Heusen Corp. also operates a Van Heusen and IZOD outlet at the center, and will be opening a BASS outlet at Freeport Village Station in conjunction with the grand opening celebration planned for the Columbus Day Holiday weekend. Mallet House Café, a café/restaurant, will also open that weekend. Freeport Village Station, which opened in May, is the new $30 million outlet/lifestyle center. The multi-level complex on a 3.6 acre site is located across from L.L. Bean's flagship store on Main St. The center was developed by Berenson Associates, Inc and designed by Arrowstreet, Inc. of Boston. Freeport Village Station will feature 40 retail factory outlet stores, restaurants, three elevators providing handicapped accessibility, a 550 car parking garage (the only covered parking in Freeport), and other public amenities. Outlet stores now open include LL Bean Outlet, Nike Factory Store, Brooks Brothers, Van Heusen, IZOD, Oakley Vault, Sunglass Hut and The Maine Dog.
