Bufftree renovates 25,000 s/f TI building for Bristol Comm. College

Bufftree Building Company has recently completed a new construction and renovation project at the former Texas Instruments Inc. (TI) building 2 on Field Rd., off Pleasant St. for Bristol Community College (BCC). The new site will be known as the Attleboro Corporate Campus. BCC has run a full-service satellite operation at the old Attleboro High School on County St. Bufftree project manager Gary Mesagno said, "Bufftree renovated 25,000 s/f of what had been manufacturing space on the first level of the TI building and created classrooms, computer labs, conference and library rooms, a health lab, and chemistry and biology labs," he said, adding that the college is utilizing the existing auditorium and cafeteria on the second level. A new stairwell and storage rooms were also added to the existing two-story structure. The architect for the $2 million-plus project is E. Randy Jarvis Architects of New Bedford. The site has been modified to conform to ADA standards.
