Boston City Group sells 4,254 s/f Four Winds Bar & Grill for $2 million

Boston, MA 266 Commercial St., a 4,254 s/f building located in the center of the city’s waterfront neighborhood, was sold by Boston City Group, Inc. on August 27, 2021, for $2 million, along with a full liquor license which was sold for an additional sum.

Boston City Group, Inc.’s Caroline Ligotti, Linda Redeker and Emily McGranaghan marketed the property for the seller, and procured the buyer.

Constructed in the late 1960s and renovated over time, 266 Commercial is a freestanding 2-story brick building prominently situated in the center of city’s waterfront, and directly facing the harbor. The building is also in immediate proximity to a dense and lively concentration of businesses and restaurants in the North End, luxury condominium units, the Financial District and Faneuil Hall. There are multiple MBTA stations close by, and connectors to I-93/95 and the Mass. Pike. 266 Commercial was previously home for over 45+ years to a popular neighborhood meeting place, The Four Winds Bar & Grill, run by the seller and his family.

The building is currently outfitted for a turn-key operation, with a custom oak bar and a fully equipped commercial kitchen on the first floor. The second floor contains a large bar and function room with separate entrance. Both floors feature full-length windows which open in the front with Boston Harbor views.
