Behringer Harvard West Village Project Owner, LLC purchases West Village from Fairfield Green at Mansfield LP

Cushman & Wakefield (C&W) completed the sale of West Village, a 200-unit class A apartment community developed by Fairfield Residential. C&W's capital markets group, including Simon Butler, Biria St. John, Michael Byrne and John McLaughlin, exclusively represented the seller Fairfield Green at Mansfield LP, and procured the buyer Behringer Harvard West Village Project Owner, LLC. The sale price was not disclosed. West Village is located at the junction of I-95 and I-495. The community's location near the commuter rail service to Boston and Providence via Mansfield Center Station (3 miles from West Village) provides residents with access to many of the top employers/retailers and entertainment destinations in the state. West Village is also located adjacent to the 5.2 million s/f Cabot Industrial Park which is home to employers such as Covidien, Tyco Healthcare, Samsonite and Medline. West Village offers residents tremendous access to retail amenities. Featured retail/dining offerings located within minutes of the community include Mansfield Crossing, a 383,000 s/f open-air retail center which is home to retailers and restaurants including L.L.Bean, Borders, Best Buy, Kohl's, Sports Authority, American Eagle Outfitters, Coldwater Creek, Ann Taylor LOFT, T.G.I.
