Beacon Capital Partners earns 12th Energy Star Partner of the Year recognition

Boston, MA According to Beacon Capital Partners, they have received the 2023 Energy Star Partner of the Year Sustained Excellence Award for continued leadership in successfully improving and optimizing energy efficiency across its portfolio. The Sustained Excellence Award is the highest honor bestowed by the Energy Star program.

This recognition marks Beacon’s 12th year as an Energy Star Partner of the Year, an Energy Star program that honors businesses and organizations for outstanding contributions to protecting the environment through superior energy achievements.

“As a leading real estate developer, owner, manager, and employer, our responsibility includes a commitment to energy efficiency and sustainability throughout our portfolio, and it is fundamental to our investment philosophy,” said Beacon managing director Al Scaramelli. “We are honored that our efforts and innovation in creating energy efficient buildings continue to be recognized by Energy Star.”

Energy Star award winners lead their industries in the production, sale, and adoption of energy efficient products, homes, buildings, services, and strategies. These efforts are essential to fighting the climate crisis and protecting public health.

“As we accelerate historic efforts to address climate change, public-private partnerships will be essential to realizing the scale of our ambition,” said EPA administrator Michael Regan. “I applaud this year’s Energy Star award winners for working with EPA to deliver a clean energy that saves American consumers and businesses money and creates jobs.”

2023 Energy Star award winners are selected from a network of thousands of Energy Star partners. For a complete list of winners and more information about Energy Star’s awards program, visit energystar.gov/awardwinners.
