Steve Avery, CPA, has been promoted to the position of chief financial officer for Dimeo Construction Company. Avery obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Babson College in 1989 and after working for the public accounting firm of Deloitte & Touche for 8 years became Dimeo's controller in 1996. Avery has managed all of Dimeo's accounting, financial reporting, surety interface and banking interface for the past 5 plus years. Avery is a member and past president of the Rhode Island chapter of the Construction Financial Management Assn. (CFMA)
