Alcorn joins Cityside Management as chief business development officer
Clinton Alcorn has joined Cityside Management Corp. as chief business development officer. Alcorn brings with him an impressive background and skill set which uniquely qualifies him for this key role in the company. "During our interviews, it just became crystal clear that Clinton was an ideal fit for this key position we created," said company president Chris Dolloff.
Cityside Management successfully wooed the former Bank of America vice president to join the firm and spearhead a national business development initiative focusing on verdant territory for the company. Cityside plans to deepen its penetration into the lender owned real estate market and rapidly developing rental management space. Hiring Alcorn as their new business development chief was a bold move in accomplishing the goal.
Alcorn formerly ran the Bank of America field services organization. Prior to managing field services, Alcorn managed Bank of America's REO sales and marketing group, where he was responsible for the management and disposition of the 2nd largest REO portfolio in the country.
Alcorn has worked in the mortgage industry for many years. Prior to his time at Bank of America, Alcorn managed mortgage originations on a national level for some of the nation's leading mortgage bankers.
Cityside Management Corp. is a national, full service real estate management company. It was founded in 1998 and has grown quickly to over 300 employees and 6 offices nationwide, managing more than 12,000 homes in 37 states.
He boasts a wide and well connected network within the default servicing and mortgage banking communities. Alcorn can go through his Rolodex, or in his case, iPad and indentify the right contacts to call for various expertise within the REO, default servicing and real estate management industries. Cityside's Dolloff comments further, "A network like his is really valuable to our clients and us. Clinton will help us expand our network, leverage talent and better serve clients throughout our market."
Cityside has a niche in property preservation, field management, rental property management and REO marketing services for the federal government and private lending institutions. The need for managing, maintaining value in and marketing distressed or lender owned residential properties is growing and Cityside Management is uniquely poised to provide valuable services that help stabilize the housing market.
