What advice would you offer to women getting into the CRE industry? If you are interested in a career and not just a job then, think about the long game, focus on opportunities vs obstacles, and always network, network, network. Make sure you incorporate ongoing education, building skills and listening as part of your long-term plan. When focusing on opportunities vs obstacles try to be a positive agent of change and value creation. And lastly, when networking, try to build trusted relationships which can help you navigate personal and professional challenges—there will be many of both.
