What advice would you offer to women getting into the CRE industry?

It is critical to carve out room to create relationships, it takes time and a level of vulnerability but the dividends are second to none. The relationships you build in the industry will help you navigate challenges, wins, self discovery, the list goes on. I’d also advise surrounding yourself with people who inspire and perhaps to a degree, intimidate you. Looking around the room at any CREW Boston event I see women from all facets of our industry from banking, to real estate, to architecture in critical positions of influence not just within their own companies but industry-wise and there is truly nothing more inspirational.
