2019 Annual Review: Michael Norman of Abbot Building Restoration Co.

What was your greatest professional accomplishment in 2019?
In 2019, Abbot completed one of the largest exterior masonry repair and restoration projects in our 80+ year history. This multi-phase project involved two high-rise connected commercial ornamental historic buildings located at 10 Milk St. and 294 Washington St. in downtown Boston. 

Collaborating with the engineering firm of CBI Consulting, Inc. (Boston), the design/build team was able to conduct all of required repairs and renovations while working closely with Boston’s Landmarks Commission to preserve the historic integrity of the buildings.
