11-12-2014 - Onset to host one-hour webinar November 12
Onset, a leading supplier of data loggers, will be hosting a free, one-hour webinar on November 12, at 2 p.m.
Hosted by Onset, and presented by Lonnie Haughton, principal construction and codes consultant with Richard Avelar & Associates, this webinar discusses a recent project where 100 Onset HOBO temperature and relative humidity data loggers were used to identify unexplained causes of moisture damage, wood decay, and fungal growth in the walls of a wood-framed apartment complex.
Ideal for facility managers, building owners, and energy managers and consultants, webinar participants will learn:
* The humidity ratio (i.e., the ambient moisture load) is a function of temperature and relative humidity;
* Temperature and humidity loggers can be deployed for long-term monitoring of the constantly-changing humidity ratio within exterior wall cavities; and
* Collected data can be easily evaluated and used by investigators to guide their forensic processes
