Boston, MA WSP | Parsons Brinckerhoff promoted four employees in the building systems practice: Robert Goossens, senior vice president; Jeremy Pinkham, vice president; Melissa Sierra, senior associate; and Thomas Weiss, associate.
With more than 10 years in the Boston office, Goossens is responsible for the commissioning department’s 18-member staff. He is a key figure in the team’s success, including development of strong relationships with long-term clients such as the Division of Capital Asset Management Maintenance (DCAMM), Mass. Institute of Technology (MIT), and the Mass. School Building Authority (MSBA).
In addition, Goossens has contributed significant efforts in support of the national commissioning team. Additionally, he has taken on additional responsibilities in the Boston office related to quality, safety, staff training and career development, leading programs that are critical to the office’s success.
Pinkham has a key role in Boston’s mechanical department, having managed some of the office’s largest projects, including One Dalton St., a luxury hotel and condominium; the renovation of Mass. Institute of Technology MIT Building 2 Mathematics building; Chestnut Hill Sq., a lifestyle and retail destination; and Block 6, a residential and retail complex.Â
Sierra is assuming leadership of Boston’s 25-person electrical department. She was a key figure in the electrical design of the National Museum of African American History and Culture, as well as the New Balance corporate headquarters, which recently earned LEED Platinum.Â
Weiss has successfully managed client expectations and delivered quality documents as lead mechanical engineer on many projects in the Boston office, including The Lucas at 136/140 Shawmut St., 505 Washington St. and The Boulevard at 110 Broad St.
