WP Realty, a real estate investment, development, management and leasing company based in Bryn Mawr, Penn., has three promotions among key personnel effective immediately:
*Timothy Herb has been promoted to vice president of development. Herb oversees the planning, coordination and completion of all development and redevelopment projects for properties in WP Realty's portfolio.
*Jason Hess, Esq. has been promoted to vice president and associate general counsel. Hess is responsible for the negotiation and preparation of all leases in the company's portfolio and handles construction related documentation for the company's various development projects
*Gordon Powley has been promoted to regional property controller. He oversees a team of property accountants and administrative staff to provide accounting and reporting services, cash flow projections, budgets, audit and tax return preparation for a portfolio of the properties.
Providence, RI Shawmut Design and Construction celebrated the ceremonial groundbreaking for the 195 District Park Pavilion, marking the start of construction on a facility that will feature year-round dining and support space for park operations. In addition to the 3,500 s/f building, the project will include infrastructure upgrades

Long-term interest rates have fallen by 100 basis points, and the market is normalizing. In December of 2022 I wrote an article about investing in a high interest rate, high inflation market. Since then, inflation has cooled off, and the Fed has begun lowering their funds rate.
