Wettenstein of Vidal/Wettenstein brokers $5.7m sale of Beardsley Plaza

Bridgeport, CT Beardsley Plaza Shopping Center on Broadbridge Rd. and Huntington Tpke has been sold. The sales price was $5.7 million. According to Bruce Wettenstein, SIOR and partner with Vidal/Wettenstein, “The property had been very well maintained and on the market for a relatively short period of time. We had numerous offers to purchase and chose the one that we felt was the best fit for the property.” The purchaser was The Beantown Companies, Inc..

The plaza contains 16,384 s/f on 1.65 acres and is fully leased to eight retail establishments that have been successful occupants for years, including Vazzy’s Restaurant, Swissland Farm Food Store, King & I Restaurant and Subway. In addition to the retail establishments, Verizon has a telecommunication pole on the property.

Wettenstein was the listing broker and S.B.R.G. of Somerville Mass. represented the purchaser. Counsel for the seller was Marshall Goldberg, partner, Wofsey, Rosen Kweskin & Kuriansky.
