Frank Ricciardi

Worcester, MA Weston & Sampson recently announced the transition of the role of chief executive officer from Michael Scipione, PE, to Frank Ricciardi, PE, LSP as of January 1st.

Weston & Sampson has been working proactively and thoughtfully on succession planning to ensure a successful shift in leadership. Ricciardi has been working continuously with Scipione and the corporate leadership team over the past year for a seamless transition.

Guided by his leadership, Weston & Sampson diversified services centered on the needs of our clients to include energy (renewables, gas, efficiency), climate resiliency, facilities design, and landscape architecture while strengthening our practices in environmental, transportation, water and wastewater engineering, as well as operations and construction. Going forward, Mike will shift to a client-facing focus, bringing his technical expertise, consulting experience, and problem-solving skills to support our clients’ environmental and infrastructure projects.

A trusted leader, Ricciardi is an innovative and strategic thinker as well as a collaborative team builder who welcomes new ideas, seeks out diverse voices, and embraces new technology. A registered Professional Engineer and Licensed Site Professional, Ricciardi has more than 28 years of experience in project management, climate resiliency, environmental consulting, and infrastructure engineering projects.
