Watertown Mews hosts Toy Drive during the month of December for Action for Boston Community Development

Watertown Mews (Mews), a 206-unit luxury rental apartment community located at 1 Repton Place, is a place where home meets hospitality. Located just outside of Boston, the Mews is a community with a strong commitment to giving, and this holiday season the Mews is holding a Toy Drive during the month of December for Action for Boston Community Development (ABCD). The holiday season is a time for joy, giving, and the wishes of children. The Mews has partnered with ABCD as part of its Holiday Toy Drive to help fulfill the dreams of needy children this year. Not only are residents being asked to donate toys, but the Mews is opening its doors to accept donations from community members in Watertown and beyond who want to participate. Donations of unwrapped, non-violent toys for children ranging in age from birth to 14 years of age are welcome and will be accepted in the lobby of the Mews. "We're always looking for ways to keep our residents active and engaged," said Trenda Wallace, community manager at Mews. "Giving back really resonates with those who live here, and it has been such an honor to help residents connect while making their community a better place. I really want to thank everyone for their generosity and support, and hope we can provide lots of gifts to needy kids this year!" Recently, the Mews' residents donated over 100 items to the Watertown Food Bank for Thanksgiving, raised awareness for prostate cancer during "No Shave November", and collected donations to support breast cancer research in October.

Investing in a falling rate environment - by Harrison Klein

Long-term interest rates have fallen by 100 basis points, and the market is normalizing. In December of 2022 I wrote an article about investing in a high interest rate, high inflation market. Since then, inflation has cooled off, and the Fed has begun lowering their funds rate.
