Campanelli joins the Germantown YMCA & DOVE, Inc. to give back to hundreds of Quincy & South Shore based families this holiday season
Campanelli, a full service real estate development, acquisitions and construction management firm, has partnered with the Quincy-based Germantown Neighborhood Center(a branch of the South Shore YMCA) and DOVE, Inc. (DOmestic Violence Ended) this holiday season to give back to hundreds of Quincy and South Shore based families. Campanelli is donating space at their office campus, Heritage Landing, from the month of December as a drop-off and pick-up center for both organizations' holiday gift drive. Before Christmas, the programs will serve hundreds of families in need of support during the holiday season.
"Campanelli is continually inspired to give back to the communities that have afforded our company so much. We grew up in Brockton, live on the South Shore and have decades-long ties with the city of Quincy and surrounding communities. We have seen first-hand the impact both the Germantown Neighborhood Center and DOVE have made in our community and are proud to support those efforts," said Dan DeMarco, partner at Campanelli.
The Germantown Neighborhood Center is a critical resource for the families in Quincy. Over 4,000 kids, adults and seniors turn to the Center each year for social service and educational programming, including adult classes, domestic abuse counseling and children's summer camps. Additionally, the program provides 1,200 families monthly with meals at their in-house food pantry. Germantown's Holiday Assistance program provides toys, food and clothing to over 1,000 families in the Quincy area that could not otherwise provide a holiday for their children.
"Campanelli has been dedicated to the South Shore YMCA for many years, most recently providing us with extensive consultation that helped us to build the new facility in Quincy. We are serving thousands of families in need this Christmas season and their donation of space is critical in making the Holiday Assistance program a success," said Kathy Quigley, director of the Germantown Neighborhood Center.
DOVE, Inc. is a multi-service organization providing support, crisis intervention, counseling, emergency shelter, legal advocacy and education for victims of dating and domestic violence, as well as their children. DOVE is exceedingly involved in the community, offering outreach and educational presentations about domestic violence to civic and community groups, faith-based organizations, schools and universities. This year, the organization will collect gift donations for over 100 families in need through their Adopt A Family Program.
