Washington Trust donates $1,000 to R.I. Philharmonic for scholarships/financial aid for music school students
Washington Trust presented the R.I. Philharmonic with donation of $1,000 to help provide scholarships and financial aid for music school students. The check was presented to a group of music school students who performed for Washington Trust bank officials, community members and guests as the bank celebrated its new branch office at 587 Taunton Ave.
"Washington Trust is committed to the organizations and activities that make R.I. a better place to live and work," said Joseph MarcAurele, Washington Trust chairman, president and CEO. "The R.I. Philharmonic is one of the state's special places, as it provides opportunities for our youth to explore their talent and enjoy new experiences."
