W&M Properties plants flowers at Lathon Wider Community Center
For the 13th consecutive year, W&M Properties planted flowers at the Lathon Wider Community Center as part of a community program created by Keep Stamford Beautiful, a non-profit organization whose purpose is to preserve and enhance the appearance of Stamford.
Volunteers from W&M, with their families and friends, worked with the community organization to plant annual flowers in barrel planters along Henry St. and Woodland Ave.
W&M hired landscaping company Eastern Land Management to arrange the cleanup of the property, prepare the planting beds and provide the plants.
In addition, W&M arranged for the Metro Grille restaurant and catering service to provide volunteers with a complimentary breakfast.
Keep Stamford Beautiful is made up of volunteers from the area and local corporations who plant flowers throughout Stamford and surrounding neighborhoods.
