Vision 3 Architects begins projects this summer totaling 85,600 s/f

Vision 3 Architects has begun three projects this summer. Utilizing a $5 million grant, Thundermist Health Center will be building a 20,000 s/f primary care and dental health clinic in Wakefield, to replace their existing outdated facility. The center is anticipated to open by year-end 2014. They also have begun the Briarcliffe Cottage in Johnston. The 10,600 s/f facility will serve as an inpatient skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility, offering rehabilitation in a residential setting. Included in the facility are 20 resident rooms, two living areas, one with a dining area, sunroom, training kitchen, exercise equipment, and laundry facilities. Anticipated completion of the project is December of this year. Vision 3 will also complete an office building at the Providence Community Health Centers campus. The 55,000 s/f office building, which is on the National Register of Historic Places, is designed for a medical office. The Health Center was completed in October 2012 and the entire site; health center, office building, and retail pharmacy will be completed by the spring of 2014. Vision 3 Architects is also starting construction administration for the relocation and expansion of Women & Infants Oncology, Providence; the renovation of Majestic Honda in West Warwick; the renovation of a law firm, Partridge Snow Hahn LLP, in Providence; a new branch for BayCoast Bank located in Dartmouth, Mass.; and a new Coastway Community Bank branch located in Lincoln.
