Unison Realty Partners acquired Fairbanks Plaza, a 145,000 s/f grocery-anchored shopping center anchored by Aldi, Kohl's and Walgreens for $13.465 million. The seller is an affiliate of Heyman Properties of White Plains, N.Y.
"We are extremely pleased with the acquisition of Fairbanks Plaza. We are actively growing our portfolio of groceryanchored shopping centers in the Northeast and we are looking at several opportunities in the mid-Atlantic region. Keeping in step with our investment philosophy, Fairbanks Plaza is very well positioned in its trade area and boasts strong anchors, including a grocer, with long term leases in place. We plan to add substantial value thanks to our handson management and our extensive industry relationships. We will strive to make a positive contribution to the community and serve our tenants the best we can," said Karim Fadel, president of Unison Realty Partners.
