Trinity makes National Affordable Housing Management Association’s “Affordable 100” list

Boston, MA Trinity Management, LLC is among the top property management firms of affordable properties in the country, placing 85th on the National Affordable Housing Management Association’s (NAHMA) “Affordable 100” list. Last year, in its third year in operation, Trinity was 96th on the list. CEO Kate Franco is pleased that Trinity is climbing, with 6,044 units this year, up from 5,312 last year.

“We are thrilled,” said Franco. “In just four years we have grown steadily while at the same time maintaining our commitment to provide safe, affordable, energy efficient properties. It is wonderful to be recognized for our efforts by such a prestigious organization as NAHMA.”

NAHMA made the announcement last week, and a few days later, on Tuesday, May 31, NAHMA announced that Trinity’s Bristol Commons/Lenox Green in Taunton won a Vanguard Award in the New Construction, More Than 100 Units category.

“It has been a very good run of good news,” said Ms. Franco.

NAHMA’s Affordable 100 is compiled to put a spotlight on federal funding for affordable housing, which is an ongoing focus of the organization. Each of the companies on the list receives at least one of the following federal subsidies: HUD Project-based Assistance, Section 42 LIHTC, HOME funds, USDA Section 515, or Bonds.

Trinity Management also has condominiums, market-rate apartments, cooperative communities and public housing in its portfolio, as well commercial properties. Its affordable component is the largest sector.

“Our motto is ‘Enhancing Communities, Changing Lives,’” Ms. Franco said. “That’s at the heart of everything we do.”

Investing in a falling rate environment - by Harrison Klein

Long-term interest rates have fallen by 100 basis points, and the market is normalizing. In December of 2022 I wrote an article about investing in a high interest rate, high inflation market. Since then, inflation has cooled off, and the Fed has begun lowering their funds rate.
