The Residences and Shops at Wakefield Station in Wakefield, Mass. The Residences and Shops at Wakefield Station - Wakefield, MA

Wakefield, MA The Maggiore Companies  has been granted zoning relief allowing them to move forward with “The Residences and Shops at Wakefield Station,” a proposed mixed-use condominium complex. The development will consist of 60 residential condominiums as well as ground level retail and both indoor and outdoor parking. It is located across from the commuter rail station and less than a half mile from downtown.

After completing two residential projects in Wakefield, Heron Pond Condos and the Franklin School Condominiums, Maggiore purchased the 175 North Ave. property and plans to begin demolition of the industrial building that currently occupies the land immediately. The completion of the project is slated for summer of 2017.

The five story building will consist of 9 one-bedroom units and 51 two-bedroom units, two of which will be larger penthouses. Pre-construction buyers will have the opportunity to choose from a variety of high-end design elements. The 9,000 s/f of retail is available for lease or sale.

President of the Maggiore Cos., Matt Maggiore, is both grateful and excited for the opportunity to work with the town again. He believes that The Residences and Shops at Wakefield Station project is crucial to jump starting the redevelopment of other properties in the mixed use overlay district along North Ave. and thanks the town for their cooperation.
