The Link Agency launches private brokerage, a unique boutique realty firm

Barrington, RI The Link Agency has completed its addition of a first-of-its-kind real estate division, a private brokerage that is part of a national marketing firm. Designed to serve a limited number of busy residential and commercial clients who could benefit from a more personalized approach, the firm offers specialized marketing expertise, along with comprehensive support services to facilitate real estate transactions of all types, in all price ranges.

“Whether someone is in the market to buy, sell or lease, real estate transactions can sometimes become complex,” said The Link Agency’s founder Tracy LeRoux. “My goal is to leverage our marketing and business expertise to make the entire process faster and easier for people facing unique situations, similar to the way a concierge can expertly handle important details during a hotel stay. We act as a trusted advisor that works exclusively in a client’s best interest.”

Because private brokerage clients work directly with a broker, not through an agent, decision-making and negotiations are greatly simplified. The greater ease and convenience of dealing with a private broker attracts clients interested in buying or selling distressed properties or investment properties. For much the same reason, clients who are out-of-market, first-time homebuyers, or businesspeople who lease commercial properties might choose a private brokerage, as well. The Link Agency’s new division also assists other Realtors in marketing unique properties that require special attention.

The Link Agency’s approach to marketing real estate is unique in that it is completely customized for an individual client’s needs. Much in the same way that The Link Agency’s other division generates strategic marketing campaigns for client’s products and services, its private brokerage applies the same discipline, creativity and focus to real estate transactions. This includes identifying a target audience and actively reaching out to them by using the most cost-effective means possible.

It is the comprehensive services available through The Link Agency’s new private brokerage that further sets it apart within the field.  As needed, clients may access such professional services as relocation assistance and legal counsel for trust and estate issues and complicated transactions, as well as private financing. The Link Agency will also arrange for staging, renovation, clean-up, moving, hauling and virtually every other service needed to successfully complete a transaction.

The optional services provided by The Link Agency do result in added fees, but LeRoux maintains that they can be well worth it: “We can save a lot of time, energy, frustration, and prevent many costly mistakes.” She adds that commissions are comparable to those of typical Realtors, which makes the services of a private broker within reach of most anyone qualified to buy, sell or lease properties.

Founded in 1999 by Tracy Leroux, The Link Agency is a national marketing firm based in Barrington, RI with an office in La Jolla, California.  Through the years, its clients have included such well-known brands as Fidelity Charitable Gift Fund (FCGF), TJX, Goya Foods and Kellogg’s. Today, much of the firm’s resources are dedicated to helping small- to mid-size companies build their businesses. Complementing this, The Link Agency provides executive coaching for business leaders. In 2015, The Link Agency added a private brokerage division, which is applying its proven marketing acumen to the field of real estate.

Investing in a falling rate environment - by Harrison Klein

Long-term interest rates have fallen by 100 basis points, and the market is normalizing. In December of 2022 I wrote an article about investing in a high interest rate, high inflation market. Since then, inflation has cooled off, and the Fed has begun lowering their funds rate.
