Hyannis, MA The Landing at Hyannis continues its transformation with three new businesses joining its roster of retail and dining options. These brands, making their debut on Cape Cod, include fashion retailer Nordstrom Rack, physician-owned medical spa SkinMD, and eyewear retailer Warby Parker.
The businesses will also join natural and organic foods retailer Whole Foods Market, which opened on Thursday, October 10. The new 42,000 s/f store offers expanded departments and a wider selection of local products sourced from New England. Additionally, family-run gift shop The Paper Store, fast-casual bakery-café Panera Bread, and beloved local Burrito Bistro will relocate into bigger spaces with expanded offerings within the property, enhancing the overall customer experience.
“We’re thrilled to share the news of several new businesses opening at The Landing. This exceptional mix of beloved and new-to-market brands speaks to the evolution of the property and will bring fresh experiences to both residents and visitors. We are so happy to welcome these businesses and to keep introducing new retail, dining options, and valuable amenities to the community,” says Bryan Furze, senior vice president of leasing for WS Development.
Starting in 2019, through a collaboration with the Town of Barnstable, the Cape Cod Gateway Airport, and the Cape Cod Commission, WS Development worked to develop, fine-tune, and execute the transformation of Capetown Plaza to The Landing at Hyannis. The modernization and renovation of the property includes a mix of retailers and restaurants, significant site improvements such as major façade upgrades to the main building and the remodeling of interior spaces, and enhancements such as new lighting, paving, landscaping, and a public green with outdoor seating.
