The Hull Redevelopment Authority seeks request for proposals for 12.8 acre beach-front redevelopment

Concept Plan Phase I HRAHull, MA The Hull Redevelopment Authority (HRA) has worked with the community, state agencies and businesses to prepare its 12.8 acres of beach-front property for redevelopment. The HRA now seeks real estate and marketing services. The request for proposals (RFP) is available from Bob Fultz, director of community development & planning at 253 Atlantic Ave., Hull, MA; 781-925-3595; & rfultz@town.hull.ma.us. The RFP is available for information only on the HRA site, www.HRA02045.com.

The HRA land is one of the most desirable beach-front properties on the east coast. From the site one enjoys sunsets over the World’s End Sanctuary and to the east Nantasket beach.

A master plan was created by the community and MassDevelopment with Utile Architects. The plan shows a possible build out of 168 residences, a 148 key all inclusive resort and 46,000 s/f of commercial space. The HRA is planning the sale of about half of the property.

Within a few miles there is an MBTA ferry to downtown Boston and Logan and a commuter train and bus service. The four lane George Washington Blvd. is ¼ mile away.

The RFP is due April 14. The HRA will select a developer by November 14.
