The 2010 New England Condo Expo: One stop for education, expertise, and new ideas - May 12th

Condominium trustees, managers and service professionals will want to mark their calendars for May 12th - that's the date of New England Condominium's annual New England Condo Expo, a one-day trade event featuring over 150 exhibitors from throughout the region. Boston's Seaport World Trade Center is the setting for a full day of networking, educational seminars, valuable prizes and giveaways, and opportunities to meet with professionals from every corner of the multifamily housing industry. Registration for free admission to this event for New England's condominium community can be made at www.ne-expo.com. The exhibitors at this year's Expo include property managers, landscapers, general contractors, environmental and energy companies, attorneys, accounting, insurance and financial advisors, lending institutions, and maintenance contractors, just to name a few. All will have representatives on hand to answer questions, distribute information, and offer advice to attendees throughout the day. If a condo or HOA has been in the market for a new CPA or landscape architect, it's time to put down the phone and log off the Web—and come to the Expo to meet prospective vendors face-to-face, all in one day at one convenient location. More than Just Booths Along with the assembled industry professionals, The New England Condo Expo on May 12 offers building and association administrators the rare opportunity to enrich their core knowledge of the industry with a roster of stimulating educational seminars. The day's seminars include "Keeping the Peace: Conflict Resolution," led by attorneys from the Law Offices of Goodman, Shapiro and Lombardi, with offices in Dedham, MA, and Providence, RI; "New Rules, New Headaches: Cutting Through Bureaucratic Red Tape" in which National Condo Advisors, LLC will talk about the consulting and condominium project approval services they provide to builders, developers, investors and HOA management; "Budgeting for Today -- Making Smart Choices in Tough Times," with accountant David A. Levy, CPA, of Brookline, MA; "Greening Your Condo," featuring Nicole Goldman, founder of The Green Design Center, Jacob Knowles, LEED AP, Senior Project Manager for The Green Roundtable, Russ Lagueux, President of EnviroSense, and Ralph Noblin, president of Noblin & Assocites; and "Secrets to a Productive Board/Management Relationship," with management professionals David J.
