Sweeney of Sweeney Real Estate sells 33.94 acres for $1.71 million
Thomas Sweeney, SIOR, of Sweeney Real Estate and Appraisal, was the exclusive broker representing Mark Russo, as Receiver of Best of New England, Inc. in the sale of Rhode Island's only 24-hour truck stop, located at 849 Victory Hwy., to TA Operating LLC for $1.71 million.
The 33.94 acres of land is located just off of I-95 at Exit 5B and consists of a 24-hour gasoline/diesel fueling facility, truck rest stop, truck scales, a 7,500 s/f restaurant and a 3,120 s/f convenience store. TA Operating LLC plans to upgrade the facility and continue to operate it as a truck stop.
