Surprenant and Feiner of MG Commercial broker $3.5 million sale

Providence, RI Gerry Surprenant, executive vice president and Dan Feiner, senior vice president of MG Commercial have sold 72 Pine St. in the central business district.

The property is a 33,000 s/f, five-story office building located at the corner of Dorrance and Pine Sts.

Built in 1883 as the Aldrich Mercantile Building, it was occupied by the Rhode Island attorney general in the 1990s. The most recent owner purchased the property in 1998 and made significant property improvements and upgrades. It is now fully occupied primarily by four law firms and the lower level is improved with mini storage units.

The buyer of the property is named 72 Pine Street, LLC, which is associated with a commercial real estate firm from Miami. Surprenant represented the seller and Feiner represented the buyer. The sale price was $3.5 million.
