Sullivan Construction completes 15,550 s/f Marketplace on Morrissey

Working for the Grossman Cos., Sullivan Construction Inc., under project manager, Rob Johnstone and site superintendents Scott Southwick and Brian Harris, completed the 15,550 s/f Marketplace on Morrissey shell. The retail center incorporates nine individual retail units, one of which is a drive through bank and another drive through restaurant on Morrissey Blvd. The scope of work for this project included demolition of existing structures, shell construction, site work, installation of electrical, plumbing, HVAC and fire protection systems, and parking lot and sidewalk reconstruction. Louis Grossman, president of Grossman Cos. said, "We at the Grossman Cos., Inc. work with many construction managers and value our relations with Sullivan Construction as a quality construction manager and design/build general contractor. They provided valuable engineering concepts during plan review; they not only expedited the construction schedule, but also saved us substantial money during the build out."
