SMMA promotes four to senior leadership roles

Boston, MA SMMA has promoted four current employees into new leadership positions to support the company’s growth and client initiatives.

Lorraine Finnegan, a principal who directs SMMA’s K-12 market, and Jennifer Howe, a principal who founded and directs the firm’s federal government market, were appointed to the board of directors. Principal Michael Pardek was appointed to the board of directors and promoted to vice president and director of design. Ryan Farias, a principal and SMMA’s director of marketing, was promoted to vice president.

Announcing the four promotions, Chairman, President, and CEO Ara Krafian, said: “The contributions that Lorraine, Jen, Michael, and Ryan have made to SMMA are exceptional, and I cannot wait to see where they lead us next. The firm, starting with our founders in 1955, has developed generations of leadership to consistently create a resilient practice that values our people, clients, and never-ending commitment to design excellence.”

The three Director appointments are the first additions to the firm’s board in 12 years, expanding the group from six to nine directors.
