Smith of Ron Smith Homes appointed to RI Builders Assn. board of directors
Ronald Smith, owner of Ron Smith Homes Inc. has been appointed as local director of the RI Builders Association (RIBA). Smith will hold this elected position for three years.
"We are delighted to have Ron Smith join our board of directors," said Roger Warren, executive director of the RI Builders Association. "We value his enthusiasm, perceptive viewpoint and extensive knowledge of this industry."
The RIBA's board of directors is a governing body made up of 26 industry professionals. Smith has been a member of RIBA for nearly 20 years and was sworn in as a local director last month.
Ron Smith Homes is an independent land development firm, new home construction company and full-service real estate brokerage.
Smith is also a member of the Kent/Washington Board of Realtors, national Association of Realtors, National Association of Home Builders and South Kingstown's Waterfront Advisory Commission.
