Smith named vice president of property management at Red Oak Apartment Homes

Janet Smith, Red Oak Apartment Homes

Manchester, NH Red Oak Apartment Homes, a leader in the state’s multi-family housing industry, has appointed of Janet Smith to the newly created position of vice president of property management. Smith will oversee all leasing and property management functions for Red Oak.

“Janet has played a key role in Red Oak’s growth and success over the past four years, and we are excited to appoint her to this well-deserved position,” said Ron Dupont, president of Red Oak.

Smith joined the company as director of operations in 2012. With a passion for the apartment industry, she quickly established a track record for fostering top performing teams within the company. Her high standards of integrity, commitment and excellence have resulted in higher occupancy rates, lower turnover and longer term lease renewals. Smith was formerly with MB Management.

Smith is a real estate broker who has completed her master’s in Public Administration from the University of New Hampshire with a focus on community development.

Red Oak is a member of the Greater Manchester Chamber of Commerce and the New Hampshire Apartment Association which is an affiliate of the National Apartment Association.

Red Oak Apartment Homes pledges to “Exceed our residents’ expectations” by providing professional customer care and well-maintained properties. Red Oak owns properties in Manchester, Milford, Derry, Merrimack, Hooksett, Concord and Laconia, NH, and offers studios, one, two, three and four-bedroom apartments and single family homes for rent.
