Schimenti Construction to build 62,394 s/f H&M

Schimenti Construction Company is steadily at work in the Herald Square shopping district, creating the largest-ever H&M store worldwide. Slated to be completed in spring 2015, the store will occupy 62,394 s/f on four floors. This H&M flagship is located at 1293 Broadway in Herald Center, the exclusive home of pre-eminent national retail chains. The scope of the new construction includes all new elevators and escalators, highlighted by a stunning "Rain of Light" display at the escalator atrium. Schimenti is also creating an interior LED wall and four-story terrazzo wall feature which includes mirrored walls and ceiling. The first three floors of the building will be covered in a glass façade and adorned with eye-catching billboard-style campaign images.
