R.J. Kelly Co. to create 5,000 s/f amenity center at 10 Maguire Road called “The Hangar”

Lexington, MA R.J. Kelly Company has received permitting approval to build a 5,000 s/f, full service, next generation restaurant concept at 10 Maguire Rd. The new amenity concept, called “The Hangar,” will be delivered this fall.

The Hangar will offer what organizations and communities are seeking when it comes to amenities. The amenity service will host multiple restaurant concepts featuring a central bar with a full liquor license.

“The Hangar presents a truly unique suburban amenity experience that rivals those at the most sought-after urban properties,” said JLL managing director Matt Daniels. “In fact, it will be the only amenity offering of its kind in the suburban marketplace today, offering tenants, local businesses, surrounding communities and families an exciting place to gather before, during or after work hours.”

“We are excited to re-envision the perception of suburban amenities by introducing The Hangar. This will not only transform 10 Maguire Rd. but will be a catalyst for future development and amenitization of the Hartwell Ave. corridor,” said R.J. Kelly Company president and CEO, Brandon Kelly. “We believe this project will benefit both existing and future office tenants and their employees as well as the local community by creating one of the most vibrant and unique amenity centers in the region.”

Situated on 20 acres, 10 Maguire Rd. is a 288,528 s/f office and R&D campus. Located near I-95, the property offers accessibility combined with on-site amenities.

JLL’s leasing team for this project is led by Daniels, executive vice president, Chris Decembrele and vice president, Jordan Yarboro.

Investing in a falling rate environment - by Harrison Klein

Long-term interest rates have fallen by 100 basis points, and the market is normalizing. In December of 2022 I wrote an article about investing in a high interest rate, high inflation market. Since then, inflation has cooled off, and the Fed has begun lowering their funds rate.
