Richard Hitt - IREM-RI Chapter recognizes members for contributions

On May 18, at its meeting the IREM-Greater Rhode Island Chapter No. 88 recognized members for their contributions to the organization. At its annual awards and recognition night, the executive council presented gifts of recognition for continued support and example of leadership, ethics and professionalism to chapter past presidents Robert Cuttle, CPM Susan Monaghan, CPM, Eileen Brierley, CPM, Beverly Courville, CPM, Thomas Clarkin, CPM, Sheila Nevola, CPM, John Bentz, CPM, John Gordon, CPM, Harry Jenks, CPM, and Theodore Jakubowski, CPM. Recognizing that it is through the efforts of the committee chairs and members that the chapter accomplishes its goals, provides its members opportunities to enhance their profession, network with others and often simply to enjoy and have fun, the council recognized: CPM admissions and golf committee - Robert Cuttle, and its members Steve Sorkin, Melissa Corcoran, Jason Palermo, Mark Constantine, Joe Delicio, Jade Lupinacci, Terri Lehnertz, Eileen Brierley, Allen Brierley, Kim Perogino, Kerri Furatado and Susan Monaghan. CPM candidate mentor - Kathleen Manzi, ARM Admissions - Yadira Espaillat CPMC, ARM and Sharon Sassi ARM, AMO Admissions - Sherry Kriss CPM Education Committee Susan Monaghan, CPM - Carlos Hernandez, ARM, Gisela Medek,CPM and Sherry Kriss CPM IREM Foundation -Anthony Natale Legislative Concerns - John Bentz, CPM and Jason Martins, CPMC, ARM and the ODIE Outreach /Friends of IREM Committee Beverly Courville, CPM - Eileen Brierley, CPM and Anthony Natale, CPM. And for their immeasurable support, the chapter recognized the Friends of IREM businesses that provide a great contribution to the chapter. Those recognized were: ARS Restoration Specialists, Automatic Laundry Services Co., Inc., Canal Electric, Inc., Complete Cleaning Systems, Inc., Enviro-Clean, Inc., Mac-Gray Services, Inc., ROTO-ROOTER, Sanichem Inc., Servpro of Metro RI, Servpro of Washington County, Advanced Carpet Care, Inc., SagePoint Financial, Inc., Central Nurseries, Inc., Chatterton Insurance, Inc., Cox Communications, Fire Systems Inc., Frank E. Clynes, Inc, Gem Plumbing & Heating, J. Giorgi Plumbing and Heating, Proscape Landscaping Management Corp., RIBI Security, Total Construction Services, Inc. and The Brickman Group, LTD. The chapter recognized The Simon Companies, Picerne Military Housing and Olympus Group for Accredited Management Organization which recognizes excellence among real estate management firms and only those firms that achieve the highest level of performance, experience and financial stability and have a CPM in an executive position can earn the AMO credential. Individual recognition awards were presented to those individuals that have contributed to IREM-RI and who exemplify the profession of real estate managers. These members have contributed not only to the organization but to the industry of real estate management. Awards were granted to: Friend of IREM of the Year - Roto-Rooter Volunteer of the Year Award - Jason Palermo ARM and Melissa Corcoran ARM of the Year - Jason Martins CPMC, ARM CPMC of the Year -Julie Terri, CPMC, ARM CPM of the Year -Past President Robert Cuttle, CPM The meeting closed with a recognition of all members in attendance for there dedication to their profession, their ethical standards, and their continuous support and contributions to the chapter. Richard Hitt, CPM, is a senior property manager with Phoenix Property Management Inc., Warwick and is the president of IREM-Greater R.I. Chapter No. 88, Providence.
