RHYS Commercial brokers 2,203 s/f lease to RadioShack at North Haven Pavilion

RadioShack will open a new location this fall at North Haven Pavilion located at 70-200 Universal Dr. Dominick Musilli, executive vice president of regional real estate services at RHYS Commercial, served as the exclusive broker in the transaction. According to Musilli, the retailer signed a five-year lease with North Haven Pavilion's landlord, National Realty & Development Corp. Radio Shack will be taking 2,203 s/f of retail space, adding to its more than 6,500 locations worldwide and joining the diverse mix of retail tenants at the shopping center including Target, Sports Authority and Michael's. "Universal Dr. has transformed into an excellent retail focal point for New Haven County," said Musilli, who also heads RHYS Commercial's retail leasing division. "With more than 18,000 cars accessing this road per day and over 190,000 people living within a 5-mile radius, North Haven Pavilion offers great demographics for a company like RadioShack." Adds Musilli, this will be the retailer's third location in the county, with one other store in North Haven and one in nearby Hamden. Serving the New York, New Jersey and Connecticut markets, RHYS Commercial's team of real estate professionals provides strong expertise and a proven track record in retail, office and industrial leasing, tenant and landlord representation, investment sales and asset and property management for all types of commercial buildings as well as health care-related properties.
