Pocasett, MA Rubicon Builders completed the construction of a new office building for Hydroid, Inc. RESCOM Architectural, Inc. served as the architect. A subsidiary of Kongsberg Maritime, Hydroid is a leading developer and manufacturer of autonomous underwater vehicles (AUVs).

The new 15,000 s/f two-story office corporate headquarters has a structural steel frame and features offices, conferences rooms, lounges, and kitchenettes.  The new building is strategically designed and constructed within an existing and growing campus that helps Hydroid centralize their workforce.

“It was a pleasure to partner with RESCOM and Hydroid to help support the growth of Hydroid’s exciting company,” said Jim DiGiorno, Rubicon president. “We are proud of our team for delivering our valued client with a great building.”

“Trust is pivotal when choosing a general contractor,” said Duane Fotheringham, Hydroid president.  From the beginning, it was clear that we could count on Rubicon to provide value from preconstruction through completion.  Their services and quality are first-class, and they finished our building on time.  Our employees love their new building.”

Hydroid employees are now fully moved into their new building.
