Hylwa completes 42,000 s/f mixed-use project for Kaoud Real Estate Development

West Hartford, CT Hylwa Inc. has completed The Landmark for Kaoud Real Estate Development. The Landmark is a 42,000 s/f mixed use development located at 11 South Main St. The 9,000 s/f street level retail is occupied by Charles Schwab & Company, Inc. The upper three floors are home to 21 luxury,  one and two bedroom apartments featuring hardwood floors, solid cherry kitchen cabinets, quartz countertops and oversized windows.

With balconies  that  overlook  the West Hartford Center; private, underground parking, and an exterior façade of brick, sandstone, and slate this project is one of the first of its kind in downtown West Hartford.

“It was a pleasure working  with the Kaoud team and Blue Moon Design. The site in downtown West Hartford was tight and challenging; the structure and finishes unique. It took exceptional, close coordination between all team members to bring this project to it’s successful completion.” said Ken Hylwa, president of Hylwa.
