jumps into a busy spring

Boston, MA Last month the REFA Innovation Committee hosted an exclusive tour of Suffolk Technology on March 19th. The tour group heard from the vice president of platform, Parker Mundt, about Suffolk’s commitment to leveraging technology and creativity to enhance project efficiency, sustainability, and client satisfaction. Suffolk emphasizes their use of cutting-edge tools like virtual reality, drones, and artificial intelligence to streamline processes, improve safety, and deliver high-quality results. After the tour, attendees stayed for Suffolk’s panel discussion, AI + Design in the Build Environment.

 

REFA hosted its sold-out Dealing In Distress: Finding Value in a Turbulent Market with 100+ attendees on April 10th, noon – 1:15 p.m., at WilmerHale, 60 State St. The EMCEE Amy Lousararian, managing director – capital markets, JLL kicked off the program that was moderated by Andrew Gray, managing director, capital markets, JLL, with local and national experts, Will Berger, managing director – credit investments, Rialto Capital; Brock Cannon, head of national loan sales, Newmark; and Mike Olson, managing principal, Rhino Capital Advisors. Together they discussed finding opportunities in a distressed market.

 

REFA Emerging Leaders have an upcoming BXP Pricing Presentation on Wednesday, April 17th, from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m., at the Prudential Center Marketing Suite. BXP will be providing light bites and refreshments. The presentation and discussion by Jessica Bursma, senior financial analyst and Dante Pantaleo, financial analyst on the finance & capital markets team, both with BXP, will cover the key determinates of office pricing across six markets followed by a happy hour. This presentation is the result of a multi-year research effort led by the BXP finance & capital markets team. This event is sold out, but members can join the waitlist.
