Powers & Company leases 29,077 s/f to Dave’s Fresh Marketplace
Cranston, RI Dave’s Fresh Marketplace will be opening a 29,077 s/f store at 550 Pontiac Ave. Dave’s Marketplace, Rhode Island’s largest independent grocery store, is a purveyor of fresh foods and produce, natural and organic foods. This will be their 10th location. The store is located in the Auburn/Eden Park area just outside of Rolfe Square.
“Neighborhood markets are the cornerstone of communities,” said Bill Hogan, Dave’s general manager.
Dave’s Marketplace has been in business since 1969 and is a strong supporter to the local community; in 2015 they donated six tons of food to local food banks. Dave’s Marketplace has also raised over $35,000 for their charitable partners.
Mary Powers of Powers & Company represented the landlord in this transaction.
