Project of the Month: Two International Group completes 60,000 s/f Hampton Inn & Suites by Hilton in Kittery

Kittery, ME The 60,000 s/f Hampton Inn & Suites by Hilton at 275 Rte. 1 will be opening its doors to guests this month. Two International Group (TIG) and their construction division were the developer and construction manager on the project. The 83-key hotel features spacious rooms and 25 suites, as well as amenities for both leisure and business guests. The property is positioned on a 4-acre parcel between I-95 and Rte. 1 with the hotel taking approximately 2 acres and 2 acres remaining for future development. This property is the newest addition to TIG’s portfolio.

The hotel is walking distance to the Kittery Premium Outlets and only a few minutes from downtown Portsmouth and the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard. The property features a swimming pool with a connected outside patio, 550 s/f of meeting space, a large fitness area and will serve complimentary breakfast. 

Project members include: Two International Group (developer); Two International Construction (CM); BMA (architect); George Pynn Masonry; JP Carrara; Northeast Drywall Systems; DBU Construction; Interstate Electrical; and ABM Mechanical. Bangor Savings Bank provided financing for the project. The hotel will be managed by Ocean Properties of Portsmouth, N.H. 

Two International Group is a vertically integrated commercial real estate company providing development, construction and asset management services. Their construction division has over 50 years of experience as a construction manager working on behalf of their own related entities, as well as other owners. TIG is headquartered in Portsmouth, N.H., where they were at the forefront of developing the former Pease Air Force Base. Their team prides themselves on active management involvement in all of their projects from start to finish to ensure the best results for their partners and clients.
