PK Rumford LLC building 23 loft apartment units at Rumford Center
PK Rumford LLC, has begun construction on 23 new loft apartment units at the Rumford Center, located at 20 Newman Ave.
The $2 million construction project, which began in early August, is slated to be completed in December. Two separate buildings on the site will be home to the new loft apartments. Building No. 3's second floor will include 7 two-bedroom apartments and 8 one-bedroom apartment loft units.
Building No. 8 onsite, the last remaining stand-alone building, is also under construction to house 8 two-bedroom loft apartments. The building totals 9,000 s/f and is also on schedule to be ready for December. Upon completion, the Rumford Center will have 112 rental apartments and 37,000 s/f of retail and commercial space. Tenants include: 7-Stars Bakery, Avenue N American Kitchen Restaurant, PUNCH Gym, Christina Squire Salon, TIMBAR Packaging Corp., Balance Body Works, Rumford Ballet Center and others.
PK Rumford, developers of the Rumford Center project, is a partnership of Kirkbrae Development Corp. and the Peregrine Group, LLC. Kirkbrae Development Corp. is an independently owned and operated firm located in Cumberland. Kirkbrae specialize in both residential and commercial sales, rentals and property management. Peregrine Group, LLC, is a real estate development and advisory investment firm based in Rumford, Rhode Island specializes in hospitality, residential and commercial development.
