Pingree joins Jewett Construction as project accountant

Kaylee Pingree

Fremont, NH Jewett Construction has added project accountant Kaylee Pingree to their growing team. As the number of projects dramatically increased at Jewett Construction, they realized additional knowledgeable experienced team members were needed that could step in and contribute right away. Pingree was added to their team for precisely that reason and she has certainly delivered.

Pingree graduated from Southern New Hampshire University with a bachelor’s degree in Accounting. Post-graduation, Pingree started her career as a staff accountant for Bauer Hockey where she quickly proved herself to be a valuable asset. Her passion for her work and dedication to continue to progress is what brought her to Jewett Construction. She is excellent at communicating information to multiple departments and making sure needs are met on all sides of a project, as a result they could not be happier to have her as part of their team.

When asked what her favorite thing about working at Jewett was, Pingree said, “Jewett is in the process of implementing new software systems, revisiting old processes, and it’s exciting to collaborate across departments to make things better. We are all trying to learn how to manage the workload that has come out of the success of Jewett’s growth in the past couple years. It’s very energizing and exciting to be part of laying the groundwork for policies we can grow with, because I don’t see Jewett slowing down any time soon.”

When asked about what motivates her, Pingree answered this: “The opportunity for growth. I want to grow professionally, I genuinely want to continue to better myself, to learn more and gain experience.”

Investing in a falling rate environment - by Harrison Klein

Long-term interest rates have fallen by 100 basis points, and the market is normalizing. In December of 2022 I wrote an article about investing in a high interest rate, high inflation market. Since then, inflation has cooled off, and the Fed has begun lowering their funds rate.
