PayPal and StubHub occupy 65,000 s/f at One International Place

Executives at PayPal and its sister company, StubHub, joined mayor Thomas Menino to celebrate their new, collaborative office space in the Financial District. PayPal relocated from 25,000 s/f in the North End to 65,000 s/f on the 5th and 6th floor of One International Place. PayPal retained 160 full time jobs during the move and are incubating 12 start ups with 40+ entrepreneurs at the new location. StubHub added 50 new employees to its team. PayPal was assisted with site location by the BRA's business development team and the Masachussetts Office of Business Development. "Boston has a young and educated population, a strong economy, and a vibrant future — all driving forces in the innovative business sector. We're proud to have a forward-thinking company like PayPal join the ranks of tech organizations locating downtown," said Mayor Menino Project highlights * 160 jobs retained * 50+ Stubhub jobs * 12 start ups hosted rent free on site * 65,000 s/f * 59 collaborative spaces * 12 workstations and conference spaces * conference rooms and video conference rooms * 1 usability lab * 2 common areas with seating for 60+ * 2 break areas with gaming and dining space.
