O’Connell and Poyant acquire 27,000 s/f Carrier Place

Concord, NH On April 30th, through a partnership known as Carrier Place, LLC, Patrick O’Connell and Christian Poyant acquired Carrier Place located at 265-273 Loudon Rd. According to public record the property sold for $8 million.

Carrier Place is a 27,000 s/f retail center built in 2015 consisting of nine retail tenants 85% leased to national credit tenants. The center is a vibrant and bustling retail property with two points of access via traffic light anchored by Mattress Firm, Aspen Dental and Chipotle and shadow anchored by Aldi who shares access with the property.

“Carrier Place represents the best-in-class necessity retail center along the main retail in Concord, and has a dynamic mix of national and regional tenants with a mix of uses including medical, food and retail,” said O’Connell. “The property has excellent access via two traffic lights, strong visibility along Loudon Rd. and is situated at the entrance to D’Amante Way which is also known as the “Ring Road” because it provides access around the Steeplegate Mall to the major big stores such as Walmart, Target and Home Depot.

Poyant said “We would like to express our special thanks to Aaron Huntley of Horvath Tremblay who brokered the deal, Brian Griffin and Adrian Rawn of Rockland Trust who provided financing, and Rick D’Amante and his partners who sold the property and were gracious throughout the entire process”.

Adam Cirel of Atlantic Retail will be the leasing agent for the property and the Neville Companies will be the property manager.
