Northbridge Companies break ground on Stonebridge at Burlington

The Northbridge Companies, a developer and operator of assisted living communities, recently held the groundbreaking of Stonebridge at Burlington, a 110-unit assisted living and memory care community located at 50 Network Dr. Northbridge is pleased to be part of the Nordblom Company's redevelopment of Northwest Park, one of the largest planned office redevelopment projects in the state. "We're trying to build a neighborhood, and the addition of Stonebridge at Burlington will be a wonderful resource for our tenants," said Todd Fremont-Smith, senior vice president of development at Nordblom. Situated on 9 acres of undeveloped land across from Network Dr. and convenient to major highways, Stonebridge at Burlington will be the fifth assisted living community owned and operated by Northbridge. Sister communities are: Stafford Hill Assisted Living in Plymouth; Autumn Glen at Dartmouth in N. Dartmouth, Bayberry at Emerald Court in Tewksbury, and Avita of Needham in Needham. The Stonebridge is financed by Cambridge Savings Bank and Fidelity RE Opportunistic Income Fund, L.P. The development team includes: The Architectural Team; Callahan Construction; Waypoint Construction Consultants; and Group One Partners, Inc. The project will be accepting reservations in March 2012 and is scheduled to open in fall 2012. "Stonebridge at Burlington will be like no other assisted living community north of Boston," says Wendy Nowokunski of Northbridge. "Not only will our physical design and programming components set us apart, but our company's proven track record of providing exceptional personal care services by a trained and skilled staff will as well."
